“In 2014, DList Magazine and VannEdge Salon teamed up to deliver a new annual celebration weekend, Seattle Style Weekend, honoring artists apart of the fashion and beauty industry in the greater Seattle area. Both award events included finalist showcases with multiple fashion and hair shows throughout the night.
This year, the event returns with a new program that combines Seattle Fashion Awards and Northwest Hairstyling Awards together in one incredible night of fashion and beauty in the greater Seattle area to create Seattle Style Night benefiting a local non-profit. Finalists will be chosen from submissions online along with expert judges picks in the fashion and hair industry. Chosen finalists will be announced on September 3rd online at www.seattlestylenight.com where finalists will be able to showcase their work in a photoshoot that will be featured in the 2015 Fall Fashion Issue.
The issue will be released on September 30th at a preview event where finalists along with fashion, hair and beauty elites will gather to mix and mingle. The winners will be chosen by the expert judges and announced at the awards ceremony on Wednesday, October 14th that will feature a fashion showcase of each category and hair shows partnered with salons across the greater Seattle area. The event will include a cocktail hour prior to the shows, entertainment, local celebrity presenters, swag bags for the VIPS and more.”
