Hello! My name is Ian and I am the newest addition to The National Beauty’s team of stylists.

I joined the salon earlier in 2013 and am loving every minute of it! I grew up in New Mexico and moved to Portland after graduating high school to attend the well known Aveda Institute Portland for Hair Design and Esthetics. I fell in love with hairdressing when I realized that geometry was integral to hair design, making hairdressing the perfect blend of art and mathematics.

My calculated and logical approach to hairstyling gives me a unique perspective and a lot to offer as a stylist. My favorite part of working with my clients is the look of excitement on their faces when they see the beautiful transformation they’ve underwent.

Eventually, I want to become a worldwide cutting educator and help others reach their goals, while still working behind the chair.
