Hello! My name is Ian and I am the newest addition to The National Beauty’s team of stylists.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, I moved to Portland shortly after graduating high school to attend cosmetology school. After graduating from the Aveda Institute Portland and getting licensed in Hair Design and Esthetics, I began working at The National Beauty, where my passion for hairdressing has grown exponentially.

I fell in love with hairdressing when I realized that geometry was integral to hair design, making hairdressing a beautiful blend of artistic expression and mathematical precision, which is perfectly tailored for me.

My calculated and logical approach to hairstyling gives me a unique perspective and a lot to offer as a stylist. My favorite part of working with my clients is their excitement when they leave my chair looking and feeling amazing

Eventually, I want to become a worldwide cutting educator and help others reach their goals, while still working behind the chair.
